Two Ingredient Steak Marinade

Is it really a recipe if it’s only two ingredients?

Anything is a recipe if you can eat it.

I am going to introduce you to my go-to steak marinade- that we use for every single steak we eat- barring any other previous plans for the meat.

I like my steaks super flavorful, so I usually opt for a fattier cut, like a ribeye.

My husband cuts all the fat off his steak. It…. makes no sense to me.

I don’t know how we’ve made it as long as we have.

Steak marinade ingredients include BBQ sauce, italian dressing and salt and pepper.

BBQ Sauce and Italian Dressing. And yeah, that’s basically it.

Weird combo, right?

It’s amazing, and the sugar from the sauce perfectly caramelizes the fatty pieces.

As per usual, you can let this marinade sit for a few hours and then grill, but the absolute best way to make this happen is to let it marinate over night.

Zero steak sauce needed. Reserve some of the marinade before dumping it in the bag, and you can baste the meat as you grill it.
